:: Awesome Wednesday ::

it was a clean sunny day yesterday that all of us decided to go around singapore for a small tour {myself, mydaughter and mymom+dad}. we went to the ferris-wheel and on to the duck tour along singapore river enjoying our late afternoon in the city.

everything was super awesome yesterday. my daughter was on her school holiday, my parents are here for 2 weeks and the bright sunny Singapore … what more can you ask for from Wednesday! The happiness was not just stop there, when i reached home at night, i have a special bundle from my neighbour.

it was a gift from gaby … one of many friends i met in Instagram. we have not met personally but our ties are closes just like we had met for real in life. gaby which has the nick name kay0311. she is so very sweet, she sent me many stuffs that i can use for my scrapbooking. she knows i love cute stuffs, vintage and scrapbooking. i could not thank more for all these .. they are super super cute. i will pass something for her in return as well, when my parent go back to Jakarta next week. i hope one day i can meet gaby for real …. { thank you Gaby!! – hope she reads this post }.

these are the goodies stuffs from her :

come to think of it, i might be making a nice scrapbooking card for her and pass it to my mum to bring back home to Jakarta. they are just cute …. thank you Gaby!

so that was my wonderful WEdnesday. and today i have many many things to do on top things i need to do with my parents …. Thank you for reading my post!

and this is a video i did last time when me and my daughter went for the hippo tour around Singapore city .. enjoy!

invitation letter from Prime Minister’s Office

i got this letter cover with the envelope said on National Service. i was puzzled when i received this envelope, what am i got to do with national service. i thought it should be my NTUC union member replacement card for shopping at fairprice. and when i opened it, i noticed this is something more serious than just that.

this letter basically telling me to arrange my appointment to be interviewed by the consultant chosen by the prime minister office. it’s kind of survey on marriage and parenthood. it is stated there:

“The National Population and Talent Division promotes a pro family environment to support Singaporeas’ marriage and parenthood aspirations. To better understand Singaporeans’perceptions and attitudes toward getting married, having and raising children, the National Population and Talent Division {NPTD} has commisioned ML Research Consultants Pte Ltd to conduct the 2011/12 Survey on Marriage and Parenthood”.

The interview will be at my home and roughly around 30 min time. they also mentioned about the confidentiality on the survey output, and as a token appreciation i will receive a $10 NTUC FairPrice voucher.

so i am looking forward for this …. cheers!
